Like many car enthusiasts, I have always taken great pleasure in keeping my car spotless. It was a ritual I enjoyed, albeit a time-consuming one, especially when my wife would ask me to do the same for her car. The process involved lugging around jet washers, buckets of soapy water, brushes, sponges, and a myriad of car care products from the back garden to the driveway. It was a two-hour affair that, while satisfying, was undeniably a chore. On days when I felt less inclined to tackle the task, I would drive 20 minutes to the nearest car wash. However, during the COVID-19 lock-down, this option was off the table, leaving me with the choice of washing the cars at home in any weather or letting them gather dirt.

This predicament sparked an idea. I began to wonder if I could create a convenient, portable car wash system that would allow me to clean my cars in a fraction of the time. My search for such a product online yielded no results, which led me to sketch out my vision of a “mini car wash system.” I began experimenting with various off-the-shelf items, combining them to form a rudimentary prototype that would later become known as PC-Wash. When I first used it, my neighbour was so impressed that he asked where he could purchase one. It was then that I realised I might be onto something special—a compact, integrated system that could serve as a personal car wash, ready to use whenever needed, even on holidays.
That moment marked the beginning of my journey to develop PC-Wash. From those initial sketches and crude prototypes, I have made significant strides in product design. PC-Wash has evolved from a simple concept into a sophisticated solution, and I am thrilled with the progress. The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I am excited to continue developing a product that brings convenience and efficiency to car enthusiasts everywhere.
